Meet The Kingston Foundation for Education

The Solstice Foundation has chosen The Kingston Foundation for Education (KFE) as the beneficiary of this year’s proceeds.  KFE is a non-profit organization established by parents of the Kingston Public Schools whose mission is to facilitate connections between the community and the schools, in order to enhance educational opportunities for the children.  Proceeds from the Summer Solstice Celebration will boost KFE’s 2018 campaign to support the Kingston Public Schools technology plan.  Through tax-deductible donations from the community, KFE is hoping to make it possible to provide devices for student use, giving Kingston Schools the same opportunities as neighboring towns.

Putting Your Donations to
Work in the Community

When the iconic big blue tent goes up in the parking lot of Solstice Restaurant each June, patrons and friends of the restaurant come together for the Annual Summer Solstice Celebration to kick off summer and raise funds to support critical community initiatives. Over the last 15 years, the party has supported a variety of non-profit organizations. The restaurant formalized The Solstice Foundation in 2014 as a 501(c)3 to broaden the ability to give in the community.
